Job Description

We're Hiring a Media Buying Manager who is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing media buying strategies across various channels. This role focuses on building strong relationships with media vendors, negotiating placements, and ensuring effective ad spend to maximize reach while strengthening the company's brand presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain ironclad relationships with Indonesian nationwide and local media (Online, Newspaper, Magazine, Radio).
  • Identify and recruit Homeless Media (platform-native publishers/communities) to extend our regional supply across Indonesia.
  • Extend the media relationship for SEA-region online media, securing a footprint in nationwide and local outlets across neighboring markets.
  • Negotiate and secure media deals involving various inventory types with a focus on long-term commitments and sustainable ROI.
  • Maintain an organized, ready-to-use pipeline of media inventory for rapid-response marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain a meticulous database of media kits, rate cards, contact lists, and past performance data.
  • Use data to track the effectiveness of different media channels, providing regular reports on reach, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Conduct monthly audits of secured inventory to ensure 100% utilization and identify gaps in the supply chain.
  • ⁠High-level persuasive writing and verbal negotiation; ability to simplify complex media deals for internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in managing large datasets (Excel/Google Sheets) and internal tools to track partner relations and inventory.
  • A Project Manager mindset, meeting strict deadlines and maintaining a clean, searchable archive of all media contracts and assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Public Relation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of of proven experience in Media Relations, PR, or Media Buying with an extensive existing network, more preferable If from from Media Company.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) or media management software to organize inventory and costs.
  • Proven ability to create SOPs for media onboarding, reporting, and communication flows.
  • SEA Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the media landscape in Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region.
  • Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
