Key Responsibilities:
- As the main finance business partner to the Commercial department (Sales, Marketing, and Export) and as the spearhead of the controls, the compliance and the governance of trade spend, marketing spend and selling cost.
- Planning, reporting, controlling, and financial analysis related to the overall P&L, sales, trade spend (including the trade promo effectiveness and governance), net sales, channel profitability, brand/SKU profitability, marketing spend, and selling cost. This includes the strategic planning, the annual operating plan (targets & budgets), the monthly projection, the month end close (including the accounting journal entries, the true-up adjustments, the reconciliations, and the accruals creation and monitoring), the scorecard reporting and the month end reporting deck for the leadership team's business review.
- Financial analysis (P&L) for the NPD initiatives (the gate approval process and the post-launch evaluation), the annual brand plan, and other business expansion initiatives.
- As the Finance representative in the IBP sessions, the weekly sales call, the trade spend governance, the NPD gate approvals, and other commercial leadership sessions.
- Leading the transaction processing team to ensure the validity, the accuracy, the compliance and the correct accounting treatment on the claims related to trade spend, marketing spend and selling cost.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree of accounting from a reputable university.
- Minimum 8 years experience in finance / accounting, preferably in multinational FMCG company within commercial finance, sales finance, and FP&A roles.
- Having 2- or 3-years experience as an auditor in the Big 4 public accounting firm could be an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, reporting, communication, and presentation skills.
- English proficient.
- Strong capability to manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations. Good cross-functional coordination, having a can do attitude, independent, proactive, and able to plan-ahead.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel) and the related applications.
