Role Overview

The Business Development Manager plays a strategic sales leadership role, driving revenue growth, market share, and business expansion through effective customer and partner engagement. This position focuses on strengthening Huaweis Channel Sales ecosystem by building and managing relationships with distributors, retailers, resellers, and other channel partners across Indonesia.

The role requires crafting and executing go-to-market strategies, managing key enterprise and channel partnerships, and uncovering new opportunities in the ICT and telecommunications sectors. With deep industry knowledge and expertise in partner management and enterprise solutions, this position is central to Huaweis market expansion and competitive positioning in Indonesias commercial segment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Sales & Revenue Achievement

  • Achieve sales, revenue, collection, and market share targets through channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and retailers.
  • Drive commercial performance by expanding Huaweis presence via indirect sales channels.

2. Partner & Customer Relationship Management

  • Build, consolidate, and maintain long-term relationships with key partners and customers.
  • Support partner development strategies and strengthen engagement across the distribution network.

3. Channel Business Development

  • Identify new channel sales opportunities and market potential within ICT and telecommunications.
  • Provide actionable sales insights and leads to both internal teams and external partners to boost growth and market share.

4. Project Coordination & Channel Enablement

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project delivery within the channel ecosystem.
  • Lead effective project operations, ensuring timely execution and alignment with partner goals.

5. Transaction & Risk Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end channel transaction lifecycle, including pricing, deal structuring, and order execution.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks to secure profitability and business continuity.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in channel sales and strategic partnerships, preferably within telecommunications or ICT.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of enterprise business processes, ICT technologies, and enterprise product/solution sales.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven success in managing distributor and channel partner relationships (resellers, retailers, etc.).
  • Preferred Background: Previous experience with major technology providers (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba/HPE, or other leading network/enterprise solution brands).
  • Language: Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Professional Qualities: Strong capabilities in customer relationship management, partner engagement, and project management.
