Qualifications:

ABachelors or Masters degree in Education, Psychology, or a closely related field.

Demonstrated experience in teaching, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with children.

Proficiency in English, both written and oral, sufficient for instructional purposes.

Prior experience with, or a strong interest in abacus-based mathematics.

Competence in using digital tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or equivalent software.

Experience supporting or teaching children with special needs is highly desirable.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and professional colleagues.

Job Description:

Deliver aritmathics instruction utilizing the abacus method, ranging from Beginner to advanced levels.

Design and implement lesson plans in alignment with the curriculum.

Cultivate students numerical proficiency and support the development of their mathematical thinking.

Enhance students cognitive abilities, logical reasoning, and creativity through engaging and interactive pedagogical strategies.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate daily reports documenting individual student progress and development.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Abacus Teacher at Genikidz in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Indonesia. The Abacus Teacher will be responsible for conducting math lessons, developing lesson plans, implementing the curriculum, and nurturing students&apos mathematical abilities. The role involves fostering cognitive skills, logical thinking, and creativity through interactive teaching methods.
