Position SummaryThe English Foreign Teacher is responsible for teaching English to students through interactive and communicative methods, in line with the schools curriculum. The teacher also plays an important role in improving students language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in using English in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English according to the schools curriculum (grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing).
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and engaging classroom activities.
- Apply teaching methods suited to students needs (role play, games, discussions, multimedia, etc.).
- Conduct assessments, provide tests, and evaluate students learning progress regularly.
- Support students in developing their oral and written communication skills.
- Collaborate with local teachers and school staff to design learning programs.
- Foster cross-cultural understanding and encourage the natural use of English in class.
- Attend teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and enjoyable classroom environment.
Requirements- Native English speaker or possesses English proficiency at a native level.
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree, preferably in Education, Linguistics, or English.
- English teaching certification (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA) is an advantage.
- Prior teaching experience with children/teenagers/adults (depending on the schools target) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability to local culture.
- Creative in designing engaging and enjoyable learning activities.
