Job Purpose
To support the SHE Site Delivery Manager in managing and enhancing the overall Process Safety Management (PSM) system, ensuring compliance with international and local standards, and fostering a proactive safety culture across our client&aposs manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review Process Safety procedures and work instructions based on global standards and industry best practices.
- Lead and facilitate periodic process risk assessments and workshops such as HAZOP, Bowtie, and What-If.
- Schedule and participate in internal and external Process Safety audits.
- Ensure all process-related incidents and near-misses are reported and thoroughly investigated.
- Act as a key reviewer for all Management of Change (MOC) requests.
- Initiate reviews of emergency response procedures and ensure the execution of yearly drill schedules.
- Define, manage, and audit safety critical equipment (SCE).
- Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new equipment or projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Process Safety within Oleochemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Chemical industries.
- Proficient in international Process Safety standards (NFPA, API, ANSI) and local regulations.
- Hands-on experience with HAZOP, QRA, Bowtie Analysis, and PHA.
- Familiar with Life Critical Standards, MOC, and SCE.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
