We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to lead design for our digital ecosystem spanning customer-facing platforms (mobile app, mobile web, POS) and internal systems (ERP and staff portal). Your primary focus will be creating intuitive, visually consistent, and efficient user experiences. As a secondary responsibility, you will also support product management activities such as writing PRDs, coordinating with engineers, and contributing to feature launches.
This hybrid role is well-suited for a designer who enjoys combining hands-on design with lightweight product ownership, ensuring ideas are not only designed beautifully but also executed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design (Primary)
- Conduct user research, journey mapping, and usability testing for customers and staff
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and polished UIs for app, web, POS, ERP, and portal
- Optimize customer journeys (shopping, loyalty redemption) and internal workflows (POS efficiency, ERP usability)
- Create and maintain a scalable design system for consistent branding and usability
- Work closely with engineering to ensure design fidelity in implementation
Product Management (Secondary)
- Draft clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) with user stories and acceptance criteria
- Support roadmap planning and feature prioritization by contributing user and design insights
- Coordinate with engineers throughout the development cycle to clarify requirements and resolve design-related issues
- Partner with QA to ensure product features meet design and functional requirements
- Assist in launching new features, including rollout planning, staff documentation, and training
- Track and report on product performance metrics such as conversion, adoption, POS efficiency, and ERP usability
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, Business, or related field
- 36 years of experience in UI/UX design; exposure to product management preferred
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile/web designs; experience with ERP, POS, or internal tools a plus
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, plus prototyping tools
- Familiarity with PRDs, agile methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance user needs and business goals
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills across technical and business stakeholders
