Job Description

We're Hiring: Technical Writer

Metatech ID is looking for a Technical Writer to support documentation activities across business, project, and compliance-related processes.

This role is suitable for someone who is detail-oriented, structured, and able to transform information from discussions, documents, and internal processes into clear, organized, and easy-to-understand documentation.

Role Overview

As a Junior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and maintenance of documentation related to business requirements, internal policies, procedures, employee regulations, and compliance needs.

You will work based on direction from the team lead or relevant business process, while actively participating in project discussions, collecting required information, and preparing written outputs that can be used by internal teams and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze information, process components, and documentation needs based on project or business requirements
  • Collect and organize information into clear, structured, and usable documentation formats
  • Prepare technical, operational, policy, procedure, and compliance-related documents
  • Support documentation of business requirements, internal policies, employee regulations, and applicable procedures
  • Participate in meetings, discussions, and project activities to capture relevant information
  • Review documentation content critically to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with applicable standards
  • Update and maintain documents based on feedback, policy changes, or project requirements
  • Prepare summaries, explanations, and written reports related to documentation activities or issues

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1/D4) in a relevant field
  • 1–5 years of working experience, preferably in technical writing, documentation, project administration, compliance support, or related roles
  • Able to write and structure documents clearly, logically, and professionally
  • Able to collect information from multiple sources and convert it into usable documentation
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to critically review written outputs
  • Familiar with business process, policy, SOP, or project documentation
  • Able to follow direction, work according to defined standards, and support team deliverables
  • Comfortable participating in meetings and coordinating with cross-functional teams

Proficient in documentation tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion, Confluence, or similar tools

Salary : IDR 4,000,000 - 5,100,000 (depending on experience)
