Store Development Manager

Join our dynamic team as a Store Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving our brand&aposs growth through strategic store expansion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our physical presence, combining real estate expertise, project management acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Site Selection & Analysis

  • Identify and evaluate high-potential store locations by leveraging in-depth market research, comprehensive demographic data, and sophisticated financial modeling, ensuring each potential site aligns with our brand&aposs growth trajectory.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies, detailed traffic analysis, and competitive benchmarking to provide data-driven insights for informed decision-making.

2. Strategic Lease Negotiation

  • Collaborate closely with superiors and work hand-in-hand with landlords, brokers, and legal teams to negotiate favorable lease terms that maximize value while protecting the company&aposs interests.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of Letters of Intent (LOIs), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our strategic objectives.

3. End-to-End Project Management

  • Oversee the entire store opening process from concept to successful launch, seamlessly coordinating with construction, design, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient execution.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring projects meet strict deadlines, stay within allocated budgets, and adhere to our high brand standards, delivering exceptional store experiences.

4. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Forge strong partnerships with Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations departments to align store development initiatives with overarching business goals, fostering a collaborative environment that drives success.
  • Present well-reasoned site recommendations to senior leadership, backed by comprehensive data and strategic insights, to secure approval for optimal store locations.

5. Portfolio Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop robust market expansion plans that are closely aligned with the company&aposs ambitious growth targets, identifying new opportunities for market penetration.
  • Continuously track the performance of new locations, analyze key metrics, and recommend strategic optimizations to enhance operational efficiency and drive profitability.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in lease negotiation and a solid understanding of real estate law, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.
  • Proficiency in GIS tools (such as ESRI), demographic software, and financial modeling, enabling data-driven decision-making and accurate site analysis.
  • Fluent in English. Being able to communicate in Chinese is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with a history of delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership and building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement market expansion plans that align with company goals.
