Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SEO strategy and execution, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and off-page outreach.
- Manage and update website content, create new pages, and ensure smooth site structure and user experience.
- Choose, customize, and update website templates effectively to support campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor a junior SEO specialist with content briefs, daily tasks, and SEO/digital marketing training.
- Monitor and optimize Google Ads campaigns, ensure GTM and tracking tools are working, and manage client newsletters.
- Prepare weekly and periodic performance reports, presenting insights to the CEO.
- Work directly with the founder to contribute new digital marketing ideas, strategies, and innovations.
- Stay ahead of SEO trends including AI search, international SEO, and algorithm updates.
- Support local SEO projects as needed.
Skills and Requirements:
- 35 years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable results.
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, technical SEO, and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4).
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into recommendations.
- Able to work independently and thrive in a team-oriented office environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with international websites.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Interest in AI-driven search and new SEO technologies.
