We are currently inviting experienced candidates to apply for the following role:

The Sales Manager – Leisure is a revenue-generating role responsible for driving rooms revenue from the international leisure segment. Through strategic account management, consortia engagement, and consistent presence in key source markets, this role is accountable for delivering measurable, sustained revenue performance against assigned targets.

The successful candidate brings a mature international network, fluency in luxury travel distribution, and a track record of converting relationships into production.

Revenue & Commercial Performance

  • Deliver against assigned revenue, ADR, RevPAR, and room night targets for the international leisure segment, with clear monthly and quarterly accountability
  • Drive segment mix and channel profitability, prioritising direct and high-yield consortia business over lower-margin channels
  • Partner with Revenue Management on rate strategy, need-period activation, and promotional pricing to optimise yield across leisure channels
  • Track production by account and source market, and reallocate effort dynamically toward the highest-converting partners
  • Identify and recover lapsed accounts; develop new accounts with demonstrable revenue potential

Account Management & Distribution

  • Own and grow a portfolio of international luxury accounts: Virtuoso, Signature, Serandipians, FHR, AMEX FHR/Centurion, Internova, Travel Leaders, and equivalent consortia
  • Cultivate top-producing IATA travel advisors, luxury tour operators, DMCs, and curated FIT wholesalers across long-haul source markets (North America, UK & Europe, Middle East, Australia, Greater China, Japan, SEA)
  • Manage selected luxury OTA relationships were aligned with yield strategy
  • Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, commission structures, and override agreements that protect rate integrity and deliver incremental production
  • Monitor rate parity across all channels and act promptly to resolve breaches

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Provide actionable intelligence on competitor rates, source-market shifts, advisor production trends, and pricing dynamics
  • Maintain accurate account records, pipeline, and production reporting in the CRM; deliver timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
  • Contribute to the annual commercial plan, segment budget, and forecasting cycles
  • Produce post-event and post-mission reports with clear revenue attribution

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Reservations and Front Office on inventory management, rate loading accuracy, and conversion of advisor enquiries
  • Coordinate with Group, MICE, and Weddings counterparts to maximise total resort revenue and avoid channel conflict
  • Work with Revenue Management to align segment strategy with overall hotel commercial objectives

Production Pipeline

  • Achievement of segment revenue, ADR, and consortia production targets
  • Established as the lead point of contact for top-50 international leisure accounts, with documented production from each
  • Measurable lift in advisor engagement converted into bookings (FAM-to-booking conversion rate, advisor repeat-producer rate)
  • Clean rate parity across all leisure channels
  • Reliable, accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years progressive hospitality sales experience, with at least 2 years managing international leisure accounts at a luxury or ultra-luxury property
  • Demonstrable production track record with luxury consortia (Virtuoso, Signature, Serandipians, FHR, or equivalent), supported by named accounts and revenue figures
  • Established personal network across luxury travel advisors, tour operators, and DMCs in long-haul source markets
  • Deep understanding of luxury distribution, rate parity, commission structures, and consortia mechanics
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills: able to read production reports, identify trends, and adjust account strategy accordingly
  • Excellent written and spoken English; an additional language relevant to a key source market is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on commercial outcomes
  • Self-directed and able to operate independently against revenue targets
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for trade events and client meetings
  • Eligible to work in Indonesia, or willing and able to relocate to Bali
