About the location:

Submit to Balis embrace at Four Seasons Resort Sayan: a hillside haven bathed in beauty and purity. Descend through a valley of towering palms, tiered rice paddies and enchanting gardens that cocoon 60 suites and villas. Choose from secluded treetop accommodations or riverside sanctuaries all featuring traditional ikat fabrics, antique furnishings and Indonesian artefacts.

About The Role

The Resort Manager will provide leadership for all operational management team and will be responsible for delivering the highest level of service in terms of guest experience and establishing a top performance work culture. This position is a member of Bali Resorts Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager of Four Seasons Resorts Bali. In partnership with the General Manager, represent the resort to civic, business, industry and local government.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire resort.
  • Must be comfortable with floor presence and frequent daily departmental walks.
  • Monitors all standards in the resort to ensure they are in place and enforced consistently.
  • Relentless about staying on top of product - cleanliness and maintenance on both FOH/BOH; a continued focus on refining and elevating our offerings is a high priority.
  • Drives the cultural experiences in the resort with innovation and creativity.
  • Personally meet and interact with guests, review all written guest comments and follow up on any guest service issues or needs.
  • Establish a relationship, connected with and highly visible for ELITE guests and VIPs.
  • Drive all guest and employee related experiences in the resort to the highest level.
  • Attends and participates in all Planning Committee or Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, operations meetings and events.
  • Monitors and review the daily revenue report, the labour report and the monthly profit and loss statement, analyse results and take action when necessary.
  • Develop profit improvement ideas, policies and procedures and implement them with approval of the General Manager.
  • Involved in forecast, strategy meetings and budget process.
  • Maintain a solid working relationship with the resort owners and participate in owners meetings.
  • Resort is well immersed within the community; connect passionately with others in the community.
  • Participate local activities as guests and employees are very passionate about enjoying all the destination has to offer.
  • At times will be expected to go on sales calls overseas to drive business and understand the market.

What You Bring

  • We are looking for an individual with strong business acumen.
  • Degree required and a minimum 5-year experience in Hotel/ Resort management.
  • Must have luxury resort experience in Asia.
  • Proven leadership skills in a Hotel/ Resort environment ideally.
  • Guest centric - drive results in all guest touch points.
  • Highest level of integrity and transparency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Serve as a role model for others by demonstrating appropriate business conduct and ethical principles.
  • Continuously seek to improve/develop the performance of others and continuously strive to improve his/her own performance.
  • Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Indonesia.
