We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you&aposll play a crucial role in ensuring all aspects of our prefab warehouse process run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include managing planning and inventory control, overseeing warehouse personnel, implementing warehouse standardization, and calculating and optimizing material usage. Job Responsibilities
Implement and uphold 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for discipline, cleanliness, and organization within the production area
Conduct routine daily briefings for the entire team (including Pre-Assembly, Assembly, and all personnel working in the Workshop area), in collaboration with Warehouse and QC staff
Enforce and apply the Safety Management System (SMS) within the managed department
Responsible for developing work schedules and continuously monitoring and optimizing human resources utilization and operational factors, such as assessing manpower allocation, capabilities, work progress, quality, material and consumable usage, and overall productivity
Review and interpret engineering drawings and designs to develop and implement effective work methods for production staff
Conduct regular inspections of all tools and equipment, initiating repair requests and part procurement as needed
Input essential data (e.g., employee attendance, production targets, work progress) using various internal platforms
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, workflows, and work methodologies
Evaluate and refine production processes, providing constructive feedback to other relevant departments
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum a D3 in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Strong understanding and practical experience in steel fabrication and wood manufacturing, with a focus on furniture production
At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with light steel and plywood materials
Hands-on experience and proficiency in using common workshop tools such as welding machines, drilling machines, and grinding machines
Proficiency in computer and relevant software applications
Strong ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Results-oriented and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards within manufacturing processes
Willing to work fully on-site at our Warehouse in Cipondoh, Tangerang
