The idea candidate will oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company&aposs products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the company, and coordinating a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced.
Responsibilities
- Provides data for the achievement of targets that have been set in KPI (Yield, Waste, Utilization, Efficiency, CRP, TIR, PRFT, Quality complains etc.) by considering the safety aspect of work.
- Responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing needs for their assigned area
- Achieve safety, quality productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, and employee engagement objectives through both individual and team contributions.
- Provides direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments, and continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
- Develops, implements, and promotes safety programs and safe work practices through involvement in plant safety team programs and initiatives.
- Develops, promotes, and supports continuous improvement and other cross functional initiatives.
- Owns and leads the implementation of the KHMS standard as outlined in the plant accountability list.
- Strive to maximize the efficiency of the plant/department by submitting and implementing process improvements.
- Ensures the quality of our products and our workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.
- Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and KHMS operating procedures.
- Responsible for the implementation of ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System) in the line area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor&aposs degree or equivalent experience
- Have minimal 2 years of experience in the same field
- Strong leadership abilities, positive attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong planning/organizational skills
- Understanding of requirements and importance of documentation
