Job Purpose
Responsible for leading and managing end-to-end production operations in a woodframe manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. This role drives continuous improvement through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and 5R (Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, Rajin) practices, while developing and standardizing effective work procedures to achieve operational excellence.
Job Specification
- Plan, organize, and control daily production activities to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and optimize processes across the production line.
- Ensure consistent application of 5R principles to maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and discipline, supporting a safe and efficient working environment.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to enhance operational consistency and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams to build capability, improve performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor production performance, reduce waste and defects, and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality standards.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and quick resolution of operational issues.
- Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing, at least 3–5 years in a managerial role
- Experience in woodframe/furniture/construction manufacturing is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of: Production management systems; Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement; Process optimization
- Understanding of: Quality systems; Safety standards (K3); Familiar with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- High discipline and accountability
- Able to work under pressure and meet targets
