About the Role
Lead supplier-focused decarbonization initiatives to drive Scope 3 emissions reduction. Own the execution of energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and coal phase-out programs aligned with climate targets. This role requires strong technical depth, supplier influence, and the ability to scale solutions across manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Execution
- Lead decarbonization programs across Tier 13 suppliers
- Drive energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions (solar, VPPA/DPPA, RECs)
- Deliver emissions reduction and coal phase-out roadmaps
2. Supplier Engagement
- Partner with suppliers to remove technical and financial barriers
- Guide energy management practices and adoption of sustainability targets
3. Analytics & Performance
- Identify opportunities through energy and emissions data
- Track KPIs and translate insights into action
4. Cross-Functional Alignment
- Integrate decarbonization into sourcing and compliance processes
- Align internal stakeholders on execution priorities
5. Market & Partnerships
- Monitor regulations, incentives, and technologies
- Engage external partners to scale impact
Candidate Profile
- 58+ years in energy, sustainability, or decarbonization
- Experience with manufacturing/supply chains (textiles preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management with suppliers/factories
- Knowledge of renewable energy markets and policy
- Able to operate strategically and execute hands-on
- CEM / ISO 50001 = plus
