Sales Manager (Business Development)
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Business Unit: Energy Infrastructure (EI)
Products: Renewable Energy Solutions, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), EV Charging Solutions (EVCS)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development and sales growth for Delta Energy Infrastructure solutions in the Indonesian market.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across key segments including utilities, commercial & industrial (C&I), EPC contractors, government projects, and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle management: opportunity identification, technical-commercial discussions, proposal preparation, negotiation, contract closing, project follow-up, and billing coordination.
- Collaborate closely with technical, engineering, and regional teams to deliver customized technical and commercial solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and sales action plans to expand market share in Renewable Energy, BESS, and EVCS sectors.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and regulatory developments to identify market opportunities and positioning strategies.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports to senior management.
- Ensure revenue targets, margin objectives, and collection milestones are achieved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 58 years of experience in sales or business development within renewable energy, power systems, energy storage, EV charging, mining, oil & gas, or related industries.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale project sales (B2B / EPC / government projects preferred).
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian energy market landscape and regulatory environment.
- Technical-commercial capability to translate customer needs into solution proposals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive business growth in a competitive market.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
