Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and service focused IT Support Specialist to join our global IT team.

In this role, you will provide technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of issues and optimal performance of systems. This includes diagnosing and troubleshooting computer technical and performance issues, configuring and installing software, and delivering clear, effective technical assistance across multiple platforms and devices. You will work closely with colleagues across multiple regions, leveraging your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering an exceptional end-user experience.

What You Will Do:

End-User Support:

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for remote employees.
  • Troubleshoot issues with laptops, desktops, VPN, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices.
  • Handle onboarding/offboarding tasks.
  • Manage support tickets and participate in on-call rotation.

Infrastructure & Cloud Support:

  • Assist with Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic network services.
  • Perform administrative tasks in AWS (EC2, IAM, S3).
  • Collaborate with System Administrators for cloud troubleshooting.

System Monitoring & Documentation:

  • Conduct system health checks and software updates.
  • Maintain internal documentation.
  • Respond to alerts and resolve issues proactively.

Team Communication:

  • Coordinate with the IT team.
  • Participate in daily standups and cross-time zone communication.
  • Provide technical guidance to non-technical users.

What You Will Bring:

  • Degree or diploma in IT or related field.
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).
  • 3+ years of IT support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Linux is an asset.
  • Proficiency with remote support tools and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with AWS services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
  • Experience in remote or international support environments.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, in a professional setting.
