Creating a warm and professional welcome for guests, ensuring a smooth flow of entry and exit, managing reservations, and coordinating with the service team to provide an exceptional dining experience
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, escorting them to available tables.
- Manage reservations and waiting lists to ensure efficient seating arrangements.
- Provide basic information about the menu and daily specials.
- Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and inviting reception area.
- Record regular guests&apos preferences and provide personalized service.
- Handle guest complaints professionally or escalate them to management when necessary.
- Ensure restaurant policies related to guest service are properly implemented.
- Update reservation systems and guest visit records.
- Assist in promoting restaurant events and special offers to guest
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, front office, or customer service. Previous experience as a host/hostess is an advantage.
- Conversational English required; additional foreign languages are a plus
- Familiar with reservation systems, guest record applications, and simple Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
