Responsible for reviewing product packaging concepts in line with existing and new processes and technologies, both structurally and in printing.
Responsible for approving documentation of all packaging development processes (structural and printing) and ensuring the completeness of packaging development records.
Responsible for approving packaging designs (existing and new) of products in accordance with established concepts, procedures, innovations, and regulations.
Responsible for approving the formulation and development procedures of packaging, including proper documentation as guidance for the packaging production process.
Approve the evaluation results of PLR 1 (Post Launch Review) meetings.
Responsible for approving documents related to commercial production preparation.
Responsible for approving the development of packaging innovations, both structural and printing.
Manage relationships with third parties (suppliers, outsourcing partners, and other external parties) and ensure smooth implementation of product packaging development processes.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven experience as Packaging Development Manager in food and beverage industry (preferably dairy, biscuits, or powdered milk).
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of packaging materials (structural & printing) and technologies.
Proven ability to manage packaging design, innovation, and optimization for liquid milk, biscuits, and powdered milk categories.
Experience in packaging trials, shelf-life evaluation, and commercial production scale-up.
Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams of more than 20 members.
Regulatory & Quality: Familiar with local and international food packaging regulations, food safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with R&D, Quality, Production, Marketing, and external partners (suppliers, outsourcing vendors, etc.).
Analytical & Innovative Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of driving packaging innovations that enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and consumer experience.
