Ananda Soul is a passionate, purpose-driven jewelry brand based in Ubud, Bali, dedicated to creating meaningful designs that inspire and empower. Our primary focus is jewelry, complemented by a small in-store clothing line that we design, produce, and sell. As we continue to grow both locally and internationally, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee finance, operations, and business strategy.
Role Overview
We are looking for a finance and operations leader who can balance day-to-day management with high-level strategic planning. This role requires strong financial expertise, a clear understanding of both retail and e-commerce, and proven operational leadership skills. You will work closely with our CEO and Founder, supporting decision-making, ensuring financial clarity, and guiding interdepartmental processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Cashflow Management
- Update, monitor, and report on cash flow regularly
- Prepare and distribute weekly cash distribution & reports
- Manage payments, salaries, and invoices (including monthly breakdowns)
- Oversee salary lists, ensure timely updates, and liaise with the Accounting Team
- Create and track project budgets, ROI, and payment plans
- Manage monthly business investment & internal loan payment plans, donation calculations, and reporting
- Maintain organized, up-to-date financial folders and records
Business & Strategy & Planning
- Partner with CEO in developing and executing business strategies
- Prepare budgets and break-even analyses for new initiatives (stores, projects, expansions)
- Review refund and return data to evaluate profitability
- Support decision-making through accurate financial and operational analysis
- Track and manage jewelry credit and customer credit processes
Operation Oversight
- Oversee interdepartmental workflows, acting as a key decision-maker (escalating to CEO when necessary)
- Ensure smooth alignment across retail, e-commerce, production, and operations teams
- Provide strategic and administrative support directly to the CEO and Founder
- Act as the point of contact for all payment methods and transaction processes
- Organize and oversee annual meetings, team events, and business functions with the Bali Operations Manager
Production & Inventory Management
- Review low stock levels and replenishment purchase orders
- Oversee new collection purchase orders and ensure cash flow alignment
- Maintain and update costing sheets and PO templates
- Oversee sample production for marketing, influencers, and photoshoots
- Monitor product quality and ensure customer complaints are not production-related defects
People & Customer Management
- Provide leadership and guidance across teams, fostering accountability and collaboration
- Step in to oversee customer service and support team in handling escalated issues
- Ensure strong communication between departments and leadership
- Oversee and update absence reports, templates, and HR-related records
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or business management (retail/e-commerce background strongly preferred)
- Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Proven ability to manage both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and people management abilities
- Proactive, reliable, and discreet when handling sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
