Job Description:
To tailor category and channel strategies and initiatives in line with company objectives, optimizing the effectiveness of consumer/shopper activities at the channel and local level, and actively participating in and supporting the customer development process to ensure all strategies are executed as planned. The goal is to increase sales and business profitability to drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Translate category and brand objectives at the market level into channel-specific strategies, including defining channel priorities, identifying strategic initiatives, and developing effective programs
- Formulate, manage, and execute annual strategies and plans
- Ensure effective new product launches and line extensions by organizing category roadshows and presentations for sales teams, while providing ongoing support and monitoring
- Track, monitor, and report key competitor activities at the channel level, providing insights and action plans to drive competitive advantage
- Ensure the development and efficient utilization of both hard and soft POSM for general and local activities, including evaluating effectiveness at the point of purchase
- Maintain, update, and implement core distribution priorities and merchandising guidelines across channels
- Work with the relevant Channel & Supply chain teams to set up the route to market and build a sustainable service model
- Continuously generate channel insights, analyze retail audit data, and provide recommendations and action plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any major
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Trade Marketing, Key Account Management (KAM), or related roles
- Prior experience in FMCG industry is preferred
- Strong understanding of channel strategy, trade marketing execution, and retail dynamics
- Proven ability to analyze data, generate insights, and translate them into actionable plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical thinking with a strategic mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
