Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to support our daily accounting operations, ensure tax compliance, and drive alignment with group finance policies in Indonesia. Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Accounting & Financial Operations
- Develop, track, and analyze financial budgets; conduct weekly/monthly execution reviews and fund planning to optimize cash flow management.
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, prepare core financial statements (Balance Sheet/Profit & Loss) and data-driven analytical reports for internal decision-making.
- Maintain accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) sub-ledgers, perform regular aging analyses, and oversee systematic archiving of financial documents.
- Execute bookkeeping tasks via Easy Accounting or ERP systems; handle end-to-end invoice processing, transaction recording, and employee reimbursement workflows.
2. Tax Compliance Management
- Ensure strict adherence to Indonesian tax regulations, including Value-Added Tax (VAT), Unifikasi (Withholding Tax), and other applicable tax obligations.
- Review General Ledger (GL) accounts for accuracy; support the preparation of tax-related documentation and coordinate with stakeholders during tax audits.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Localize and implement group-level finance policies to align with Indonesian business practices and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the finance team, banks, and tax authorities to address inquiries and resolve financial operational issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
2. Certifications & Technical Expertise
- Hold aJunior Accountant CertificateORBrevet A/B/C Tax Certification(Brevet A/B/C certification is highly preferred).
- Solid knowledge of Indonesian GAAP and IFRS; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (with advanced Excel skills for data organization/analysis).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Kingdee, SAP) or ERP systems; familiarity with data modeling (Excel) is a plus.
3. Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or tax roles, with a strong understanding ofretail industry tax operations.
4. Language & Soft Skills
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (both verbal and written) able to communicate effectively with internal teams (including Mandarin-speaking stakeholders) and external partners.
- Familiarity with Indonesian local business culture; understanding of Chinese business practices is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
