What Youll Do:
- Launch High-Impact Products: Research trends, test ideas, and introduce products with strong market potential, prioritizing quality and margin.
- Negotiate with Mandarin-Speaking Suppliers: Build strong relationships, negotiate pricing, and place orders in Mandarin with speed and clarity.
- Manage Orders & Logistics: Coordinate end-to-end sourcing, ordering, and fulfillment from China to U.S. warehouses.
- Resolve Supplier Issues: File claims, follow up delays, and recover costs from defective or damaged shipments.
- Catalog Ownership: Maintain clean, up-to-date catalog sheets with accurate SKUs, pricing, stock, and source details.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with CRM & sales to address complaints, prevent returns, and improve product performance.
- Track Product Success: Analyze refund rates, margins, claims, and customer feedback to decide which products to scale or sunset.
What Were Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in Merchandising or Purchasing
- Bachelor&aposs degree in relevant field, minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
- Fluent in Mandarin (Spoken & Written): Able to handle supplier communication and documentation with confidence.
- Experience in Merchandising, Sourcing, or Supply Chain: Prior experience handling Chinese vendors, Alibaba, or Rakuten is a plus.
- Sharp Negotiator & Detail-Oriented: You know how to secure great deals and never miss a product or pricing error.
- Data-Driven Mindset: You dont just guess; you analyze refund rates, cost margins, and product reviews to drive decisions.
