What You Will Experience:
- Develop and implement fleet transport procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Optimize logistics costs while ensuring on-time delivery and safety standards.
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers, including contract negotiations and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with manufacturing site managers to address logistical challenges.
- Provide insights and reports to senior management on fleet performance, cost savings, and risk mitigation strategies.
What is Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or CPSM would be advantageous.
- 8-12 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on fleet and transport management in the manufacturing sector, preferably pulp, paper, or tissue industries.
- Proven experience managing transportation services procurement, including trucking, logistics service providers (LSPs), and 3PL/4PL management.
- Experience negotiating with transportation vendors, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and site operations teams.
- Expertise in tendering, negotiating contracts, and driving cost efficiencies while maintaining service quality.
- Ability to analyze market trends, benchmark costs, and implement procurement strategies for fleet and logistics.
- Understanding of transportation cost structures, including fuel pricing, maintenance costs, and logistics tariffs.
- Familiarity with Indonesian transportation laws, compliance requirements, and environmental regulations affecting logistics and fleet operations.
- Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS), ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle), and e-sourcing tools.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities with domestic and international logistics providers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; knowledge of Chinese could be a plus.
- Proactive in addressing supply chain disruptions and logistics challenges.
- Experience leading small teams or project-based teams in a procurement/logistics environment.
- Willing to travel for business purposes.
- Willing to be based in Alam Sutera, Serpong
