About the Role

As an English Teacher (Hospitality), you will be responsible for delivering English training programs designed specifically for hospitality professionals. This includes helping participants improve their communication skills in English, tailoring lessons to practical hospitality situations, and ensuring effective learning outcomes. While hospitality experience is a plus, strong English teaching ability is the most important requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver English lessons professionally, effectively, and on time, with a focus on hospitality-related contexts.
  • Assess learners English levels and adapt lessons to meet their needs.
  • Develop or refine teaching materials that are practical, engaging, and relevant to hospitality situations (e.g., guest communication, service interactions, problem-solving).
  • Support learners in building confidence to use English in real workplace scenarios.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and participants.
  • Organize and conduct both on-site and virtual lessons, ensuring smooth delivery and learner engagement.
  • Collect and compile post-training feedback and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of hybrid or online sessions using digital platforms.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an English Teacher, ideally with exposure to hospitality or service industries (preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of English teaching methodologies and learner-centered approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using online tools for scheduling, communication, and training delivery.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  • Willingness to work remotely with consistent communication and availability during working hours.
  • Passion for education, hospitality, and empowering learners through language.
