Role Overview
The SEO/SEM Specialist will lead Avvanz's global search strategy, integrating advanced SEO with high-performing SEM campaigns. This role requires strong technical execution, analytical depth, and the ability to drive page-one rankings while delivering conversion-focused paid acquisition campaigns. You will own the end-to-end roadmap, from technical SEO and content structure to multi-platform paid advertising, building a scalable, future-ready search ecosystem.
Search Engine Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a global SEO roadmap aligned with business goals across APAC, US, and UK markets.
- Optimize site architecture, page speed, Core Web Vitals, UX, content structure, and mobile performance.
- Drive technical SEO, structured data, schema, and on-page improvements to achieve page-one rankings.
- Build a strong path toward AI-driven search readiness and evolving search behaviours.
- Track and report SEO KPIs including organic traffic, keyword rankings, MQLs, and revenue impact.
Performance Marketing & Paid Search
- Lead and optimize SEM campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Execute multi-channel campaigns including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
- Improve CPC, CTR, Quality Score, and reduce CPA while increasing lead quality.
- Perform ongoing A/B testing on creatives, landing pages, audiences, formats, and bidding strategies.
Analytics, Reporting & Tools
- Own keyword research, SERP insights, competitor benchmarking, and intent mapping.
- Utilize tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio, and AI analytics platforms.
- Build executive-level dashboards visualizing CTR, CPA, CPL, MQL quality, and organic/paid growth.
- Implement attribution models that clearly link SEO/SEM performance to pipeline and revenue.
- Leverage automation, predictive analytics, and machine-learning-driven insights for continuous optimization.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with Content, Product, Engineering, and Sales to embed SEO best practices across digital assets.
- Work with regional marketing teams to tailor messaging, campaigns, and keywords to local markets.
- Serve as the SEO/SEM subject-matter expert, guiding strategy through data-driven insights.
- Stay ahead of search algorithm shifts, industry trends, and AI-enabled marketing advancements.
What We're Looking For (Required)
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO/SEM experience, with proven results in APAC, US, and UK markets.
- Demonstrated success achieving page-one rankings for competitive global keywords.
- Strong track record executing high-performance paid campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Bing.
- Ability to generate high-quality MQLs through organic and paid channels.
- Deep technical SEO knowledge (site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, page speed).
- Strong understanding of conversion funnels, attribution models, and lead-quality optimization.
- Proficiency in GA4, GTM, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, and related tools.
- Up-to-date with the latest algorithm changes and AI-driven search trends.
KPIs for Success
- Achieve page-one rankings for priority keywords across APAC, US, and UK within 6 months.
- Increase high-quality MQLs from organic and paid channels with consistent QoQ improvement.
- Reduce CPL and CPA by 1520% within the first two quarters.
- Demonstrate measurable revenue contribution from both SEO and SEM.
- Deliver real-time dashboards tracking traffic, conversion, pipeline, and revenue metrics.
