PRAKARSAs mandate is to contribute to the development of a democratic, just and prosperous society through the production of knowledge and dissemination of innovative ideas on welfare and alternative development to bring socio-economic justice and social welfare into reality. PRAKARSA focuses on Social Policy, Fiscal Policy and Sustainable Development issues.

Role Description

The PRAKARSA is seeking a Consultant on Green Industrial Policy (contract period: Sept 2025 July 2026) to support the implementation of RIPIN (National Industrial Development Master Plan) and RIPID (Regional Industrial Development Master Plan) in 7 provinces. These master plans are key roadmaps for Indonesias industrial development, now being aligned with the green transition agenda.

Qualifications

• Education: At least a Masters degree in Development Economics, Regional/Urban Planning, Public Policy, or other relevant fields.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in preparing or evaluating industrial and regional development planning documents.
• Policy & Government Engagement: Demonstrated experience working with ministries and local governments, particularly in policy development or program implementation.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to design monitoring and evaluation frameworks, conduct field assessments, and provide technical assistance.
• Writing & Communication: Excellent skills in writing technical and policy reports in a clear, structured, and evidence-based manner.
• Preferred Expertise: Familiarity with green industrial policies, sustainable economic development, and climate transition frameworks is highly desirable.
