About the Role
Naga Exchange is a regulated crypto asset exchange in Indonesia, focused on making digital asset trading accessible to everyone. As our first BD Manager, you will be both the strategist and the executor — building Naga's go-to-market presence from the ground up. You'll be out in the field, closing partnerships, building our network, and shaping how Naga grows. As the team scales, you'll grow into a Team Lead role.
What You'll Do
- Define positioning & go-to-market strategy — then execute it: Shape Naga Exchange's market positioning and GTM playbook, then take personal ownership of making it happen — not handing it off.
- Prospect, pitch, and close partnerships hands-on: Independently identify and approach potential partners — KOLs, influencers, fintech platforms, digital content creators — and see deals through from first contact to signed agreement.
- Identify & segment target audiences: Define primary and secondary user personas — retail investors, crypto beginners, active traders — and build targeted acquisition approaches for each segment.
- Drive cross-functional alignment: Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership to feed market insights back into the business and keep execution tight across teams.
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years in BD, growth, or strategy roles at a digital content, fintech, or crypto company
- A doer mindset — comfortable owning the full cycle from strategy to cold outreach to closing
- Proven ability to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy from scratch
- Strong instinct for audience segmentation — able to identify and prioritize high-value user groups
- Experience with KOL management, influencer ecosystems, or media partnerships
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; understands the Indonesian retail investor landscape
Nice to Have
- Prior crypto exchange experience
- Network in the Indonesian fintech ecosystem
- Experience at a digital media / content platform
- Established network in the influencer community
- Connections in capital markets — private funds or private wealth
