What will you do
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development initiatives for climate resilience projects within the Water & Maritime sector in Indonesia.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities with government agencies, private sector, and international development organizations.
- Develop strategic partnerships and maintain strong client relationships to expand market presence.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, bids, and presentations aligned with client needs and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet environmental, social, and engineering standards.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform business strategies.

What you bring
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in infrastructure, water resources, or environmental sectors.
- Educational Background: Degree in Coastal Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Environmental & Social Sciences (Master's degree preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with climate resilience strategies, coastal protection, water resource management, and environmental/social impact frameworks.
Skills:
- Strong networking and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and proposal writing abilities.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-stakeholder engagements.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working with international donors or development banks.
- Understanding of Indonesian regulatory environment and local market dynamics.
- Leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset.
