About the Role
As an Electromedical Engineer (ATEM) or Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and safety of medical equipment used in clinical and surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with medical staff to maintain and troubleshoot devices, ensuring optimal patient care and supporting hospital operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, operate, and maintain medical equipment to ensure safety and accuracy.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical instruments.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide timely troubleshooting and repair.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and equipment safety regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize equipment utilization and workflow.
- Document maintenance records and technical reports accurately.
- Provide training and technical support for medical staff regarding the use of devices.
Qualifications
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelors Degree (D4) in Electromedical Engineering (ATEM).
- Valid professional license (STR).
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
