This role is accountable for owning and accelerating bancassurance business performance at regional level, by driving strong commercial execution, deepening bank partnerships, and building a high-performing sales force.
You will act as the key growth driver, ensuring consistent achievement of premium targets while unlocking new revenue streams across bank channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own Regional Revenue & Growth
- Take full ownership of regional bancassurance targets (APE, FYP, case count, productivity)
- Drive aggressive sales growth through structured action plans and execution discipline
- Continuously identify gaps and implement high-impact initiatives to close performance gaps
2. Strategic Bank Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong, influential relationships with key stakeholders (Regional Heads, Area Managers, Branch Managers)
- Position yourself as a trusted business partner to the bank, not just a vendor
- Drive joint business planning, sales campaigns, and activation programs
3. Lead & Elevate Sales Team Performance
- Manage and develop Area Sales Managers / Relationship Managers across the region
- Instill a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability
- Conduct regular coaching, field visits, and performance reviews to uplift productivity
4. Drive Business Expansion
- Identify and unlock new opportunities within existing bank networks
- Accelerate penetration across branches and improve product adoption
- Initiate localized strategies to maximize regional potential
5. Execution Excellence & Governance
- Ensure strong discipline in sales execution, pipeline management, and reporting accuracy
- Maintain full compliance with OJK regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Training, Product, Ops) to ensure seamless delivery
6. Performance Monitoring & Insights
- Analyze sales data to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Monitor key metrics: conversion rate, productivity per RM, persistency, and activation rate
- Provide regular business updates to senior management
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Business, Finance, or related field)
- 8–12 years of experience in insurance/banking, with strong exposure to bancassurance channel
- Proven track record in handling regional sales targets and delivering consistent growth
- Strong leadership experience managing multi-layer sales teams
- Excellent stakeholder management (especially with bank partners)
- Strong commercial mindset, analytical thinking, and execution capability
