Appraisal Officer (Head Office & Jatim area)
- The Appraisal Officer is responsible for conducting independent and objective valuations of collateral assets, primarily properties, to support lending decisions and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards for collateral purposes (mortgage, SME, and commercial lending).
- Perform site visits and physical inspections to assess property condition, location, and marketability.
- Analyze market data, comparable sales, and industry trends to determine fair market value.
- Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of valuation documentation and supporting data.
- Collaborate with Credit, Risk, and Business Units to support loan approval processes.

- Support audit processes by providing required documentation and clarification.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in property appraisal, valuation, or related roles in banking or financial institutions.
- Certified Appraiser (e.g., MAPPI certification or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of property valuation methods (market approach, cost approach, income approach).
Requirements
- Strong analytical and valuation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret legal documents related to property (land certificates, permits, ownership documents).
- Good knowledge of property market trends and economic factors affecting valuation.
- Familiarity with banking credit processes and collateral requirements.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and appraisal tools/software.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional judgment.
- Willingness to travel for site inspections when required.
