Job Summary

As an Application Engineer at Mazak Indonesia, you will be responsible for delivering optimal machining solutions using Mazak CNC machines. You will collaborate closely with sales and service teams to address customer challenges through technical expertise, contributing to productivity improvements in manufacturing environments. This role involves hands-on machine setup, demonstrations, training, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Setup, testing, and optimization of Mazak CNC machines

Conduct machining trials and provide technical proposals to customers

Create CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mazatrol, Smooth CAM)

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Collaborate with sales and service departments for customer support

Perform technical demonstrations at exhibitions and events

Plan and deliver customer training sessions

Prepare machining examples and technical documentation

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience operating CNC machines (Mazak experience is a plus)

Proficiency in CAM software (Mazatrol experience preferred)

Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)

Strong problem-solving skills for technical challenges

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (valid drivers license required)

Ability to communicate effectively in English or Japanese
