Quality Engineer Frame Assy & Body Parts Manufacturing (Automotive Car Seats)
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our frame assy & body parts manufacturing plant for automotive car seats. This role is designed for early-career professionals with around 1 year of experience in quality, or fresh graduates with internship experience in the field. You will have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in quality systems, technical documentation, and problem-solving in the automotive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections using measuring tools, checking fixtures, and jigs to verify product compliance.
- Utilize Quality Control tools (QC 7 Tools, PFMEA, PPAP, QCPC, APQP, etc.) in daily activities and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain quality documents in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor processes and ensure consistent quality performance.
- Participate in process audits, trials, and product validations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce defects and enhance process reliability.
- Provide structured and accurate quality reports to supervisor, highlighting findings and improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate/Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields.
- 1 year of working experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment (fresh graduates with internship experience in Quality are welcome to apply).
- Hands-on experience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) and inspection fixtures/jigs.
- Familiarity with QC 7 Tools, PFMEA, PPAP, QCPC, APQP, or equivalent quality methods.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, structured thinking, and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to prepare clear documentation and present findings effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified in CAD/CAM Software, QC/QA-related, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, BNSP, or other relevant certifications.
- Holds a language proficiency certificate (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, JLPT, HSK, etc.).
- Experience in labor-intensive or high-volume manufacturing is a plus.
