Accounting Manager

Job Description:

• Lead and manage the overall accounting function, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Costing, and Tax.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PSAK/IFRS.
• Oversee project accounting and monitor revenue recognition based on project progress (percentage of completion method).
• Control and monitor operational costs, including heavy equipment costing, maintenance cost, fuel usage, and site operational expenses.
• Supervise inventory accounting, WIP (Work in Progress), and fixed asset management.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations (PPh 21, 23, 25/29, VAT, withholding tax, etc.).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for projects and plant operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Strengthen internal control systems and improve accounting procedures to minimize financial risk.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the accounting team to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Brevet A & B tax certification or CPA is preferred).
• Minimum 58 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in managerial level.
• Proven experience in mining contractor, heavy equipment, construction, or manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of (Project-based accounting, Cost accounting & cost control, Inventory & WIP management, Fixed asset & depreciation management)
• Solid knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and financial reporting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Accurate, or similar).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Willing to travel to project sites if required.
