Adecco Indonesia is currently representing a leading multinational manufacturing company in the search for a Senior Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Manager.
This position plays a critical role in overseeing financial accounting, tax management, treasury, and internal control functions while ensuring full compliance with Indonesian regulations and group reporting standards. The role will lead financial reporting, tax governance, and ERP-driven financial processes, while partnering with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Lead month-end closing, ensuring accurate GL and bank reconciliations.
- Review key accounting entries including revenue recognition, accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, and FX revaluation.
- Prepare statutory financial statements (Indonesian GAAP) and group reporting packages.
- Manage fixed assets (CAPEX, depreciation, impairment) and lease accounting (IFRS 16).
- Oversee inventory accounting, costing variances, and stock count reconciliation.
- Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing alignment, and consolidation support.
Tax Management
- Ensure compliance with CIT, VAT, PIT, and Withholding Tax obligations.
- Manage tax provisioning, year-end tax calculations, and deferred tax reconciliation.
- Monitor tax regulation updates and advise management on potential impacts.
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation (Local File, Master File, CbCR where applicable).
- Lead tax audits and authority engagements while maintaining a tax risk management framework.
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Manage short-term liquidity planning through rolling cash flow forecasts.
- Align cash planning with budget and rolling forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Coordinate with operational teams on payment flows and working capital management.
- Oversee accounts receivable collection and provide regular cash flow visibility to leadership.
Inventory & Operational Finance
- Maintain inventory processes within ERP systems and ensure accurate warehouse accounting.
- Lead periodic stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Improve inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
Systems, Controls & Governance
- Act as ERP finance process owner, managing master data governance and system access.
- Strengthen internal controls across O2C, P2P, inventory, and payroll processes.
- Review contracts prior to approval to ensure financial compliance.
- Oversee insurance portfolio and risk management related to company assets.
Leadership & Business Partnering
- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounting team, including coaching and performance management.
- Collaborate with Controlling on budgeting and financial planning inputs.
- Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) and compliance with ISO standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience working within manufacturing or multinational environments.
- Demonstrated experience in tax audits, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions.
- Prior experience in audit or public accounting is considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (CIT, VAT, PIT, WHT) and Indonesian GAAP.
- Familiarity with IFRS/IAS standards, particularly IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally within manufacturing environments.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Understanding of cost accounting methodologies and ABC costing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
- High integrity, strong analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
