Job Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement coordination, logistics activities, and warehouse administration to ensure the availability of spare parts and operational materials. This role ensures efficient warehouse processes, compliance with company procedures, and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards to support uninterrupted mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor warehouse operations, inventory control, stock accuracy, and material movements.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including stock planning, supplier management, and purchase order follow-up.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock opname to ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse management system.
- Manage logistics and distribution of spare parts and materials to support operational requirements across sites.
- Maintain warehouse documentation, inventory records, and reporting systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse personnel while ensuring effective workforce planning and shift management.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve storage efficiency, inventory control, and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, warehouse safety standards, and 5S/5R practices.
- Monitor the condition and certification of warehouse equipment and ensure safe handling of materials and hazardous waste.
- Analyze warehouse performance and inventory data and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Leader, or similar role, preferably in Mining, Heavy Equipment, Construction, or related industries.
- Possession of POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement processes, and logistics coordination.
- Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, or other warehouse management systems.
- Good understanding of heavy equipment spare parts and warehouse safety practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
