About the Role

You will be the financial backbone of the company, ensuring day-to-day financial operations run accurately, efficiently, and compliantly while also supporting key leadership decisions. This role is highly hands on, blending operational ownership with strategic insight. You will build and manage the company's financial processes end-to-end, overseeing accounting, cash flow, budgeting, and reporting, while leading forecasting and fundraising efforts. You will partner closely with the leadership team to translate financial data into practical, executable actions that support sustainable growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead AR collections strategy to reduce outstanding days, implement cash flow forecasting models, and optimize working capital to ensure operational liquidity.
  • Source and secure working capital facilities from financial institutions to support operational needs and business growth.
  • Serve as primary financial liaison to investors and key stakeholders, delivering transparent reporting and presenting quarterly/annual financial performance updates.
  • Act as strategic business partner to CEO and division heads, providing financial insights and identifying opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
  • Identify and eliminate manual processes through technology implementation, establish scalable financial systems, and drive automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead long-term financial planning, develop rolling forecasts with variance analysis, and provide data-driven insights to support pricing, product decisions, and growth initiatives.
  • Optimize capital structure, manage relationships with lenders and investors, and lead fundraising activities to support company growth objectives.
  • Oversee accurate and timely financial statements, manage tax planning and reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Prepare annual budgets aligned with strategic goals, monitor expenditures, analyse P&L performance, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Supervise day-to-day financial operations including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and maintain organized financial records with adequate internal controls.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business from a reputable university (overseas education preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Prior experience at top-tier global management consulting or accounting firms (Big 4 or equivalent).
  • Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and cash flow management including AR collections.
  • Strong ability to implement financial systems automation and process improvements with hands-on, strategic approach.
