Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/Areas of Accountability:

• Customs clearance operation and control

o Verification of each import to ensure the data is uploaded to Customs systems accurately

o Declaration docs preparation and daily Customs clearance operation implementation

o Representative for Customs inquiries, investigations and inspections.

o Support logistics movements and WH operation related to trade compliance

• Trade compliance management

o HS classification, country of origins, valuations management

o Transfer price verification and supervision

o Obtain survey reports as required

o Ensure compliance with all import and export regulations

o Imp & exp license application, record keeping, and documentation

o Manage oversee the payments of duties, taxes and brokerage fees

• SOP establishment, maintenance and verification

o Develop, and implement SOPs for the business

o Post Border Verification Process

o SOP maintenance, revise according to Customs policy, regulation change

• Supplier cooperation and management

o Daily communication, cooperation with supplier to ensure Customs operation running well.

o Customs Broker management and accountability

o KPI follow up and management

• Export control

o Implement GTC export control order and export control docs follow up.

o Work with other regions, countries TC team to develop export control management

• Interface to Customs, government authorities

o Contact window to communicate and develop relationship with Customs, government authorities.

o SME to communicate on-going regulation changes/requirements.

o Conduct audit, investigation from Customs.

o Customs policy, regulations and announcements publishing and training.

• Responsible of other tasks from TC management

o Implement order, tasks from regional manager and TC reporting line.

o Support TC internal audit

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree, major in logistics, global trade or import & export affair.

• More than 3 years working experience in customs operation, trade compliance in Indonesia,

• Strong knowledge of Trade compliance and Custom, Customs compliance and security practices.

• Attention to detail and organization skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

• Proficient with office software such as Excel, Word, PPT

• ERP knowledge

• Good team-worker and willing to share knowledge with others.

• A quick learner and responsory.

• Well knowledge of government regulations and sense of compliance.
