Tax Manager

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational fintech client. Our client is seeking a professional with 6 years experience for the job of Tax Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all local tax obligations, covering Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and withholding tax are met accurately and filed on time.

Help coordinate communication with internal teams and external parties to address tax queries and manage audits from local tax authorities.

Provide support in rolling out systems or technologies linked to tax-related projects or initiatives.

Assist the business in reviewing and evaluating tax issues whenever needed.

Track updates to tax legislation and offer interpretation and guidance relevant to the organization's local entities.

Qualification:

At least 6 years of experience, ideally within the financial services sector

Solid understanding of local tax regulations and strong analytical abilities, with the capability to simplify and clearly explain complex tax matters.

Proactive, self-driven team player who is thorough, communicates well, and can operate independently.

Detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work under pressure in a fast-moving, dynamic setting.
