System Analyst

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area for a System Analyst. The System Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, mapping and improving system processes, preparing detailed system documentation, and providing recommendations for system enhancements. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to identify system needs, bridge business requirements with technical solutions, and ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Experience with requirement gathering and business process analysis (SOP, process mapping, gap analysis).
• Ability to create clear technical documentation, system specifications, use case diagrams, and data flow diagrams (DFD/ERD).
• Familiarity with system development methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture and system integration concepts (hands-on development not required, but able to communicate effectively with engineering teams).
• Working knowledge of SQL for basic data analysis and querying.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, and diagramming tools (Draw.io, Visio, or Figma).
• Experience using AI-based tools/technologies (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI-based productivity tools) to support analysis, documentation, or decision-making.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to design effective, efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Good and fluent English skills (written and spoken), as clients include government agencies and institutions.
