SUMMARY
The Manager for Partnerships is a senior commercial role leading ZALORA Indonesia's partnerships function. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will own the strategy and execution of high-value partnerships across industry verticals—driving revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and market expansion through best-in-class co-marketing, channel development, and media monetization initiatives.
This is a leadership role that requires both strategic vision and executional rigor. You will manage a team, own key partner relationships at a senior level, and play an active role in shaping ZALORA Indonesia's broader commercial agenda.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnerships Strategy & Business Development
- Define and own the partnerships strategy for ZALORA Indonesia, identifying high-value opportunities across retail, financial services, lifestyle, and adjacent verticals.
- Lead senior-level negotiations to close strategic deals that drive ZALORA sales, brand awareness, and new customer acquisition.
- Build and scale co-marketing programs with key partners, developing channel growth initiatives and loyalty mechanisms that generate measurable commercial outcomes.
- Drive growth of ZALORA's financial product partnerships, including credit card acquisition programs and spend activation campaigns
Brand & Advertising Revenue
- Partner with the Commercial team to deepen brand partner relationships and grow investment into the ZALORA Advertising Platform (ZAP)
- Lead the development and sale of advertising solutions that deliver measurable performance for brand partners while hitting advertising revenue targets
- Oversee integrated campaign planning spanning OOH, ATL, digital, and emerging media formats
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the partnerships team, building capability and creating a high-performance culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, agencies, and key external stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Legal, Marketing, CS, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership programs
Performance & Operations
- Own partnerships KPI reporting and deliver post-campaign analyses that translate data into actionable recommendations
- Manage the partnerships marketing budget with full accountability for spend efficiency and compliance
- Maintain governance standards across all partnership trackers, contracts, and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or marketing, with a strong track record of closing strategic deals and delivering commercial results
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- At least 6-8 years of experience in a related field with a proven track record of success
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage senior-level relationships with external partners
- Sharp commercial acumen—you think in deals, revenue, and growth levers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills; professional proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Analytically strong: able to interpret campaign and business performance data and make sound decisions from it
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
