About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media–focused Account Director to lead the strategy, execution, and growth of key client relationships. This is a client-facing leadership role, ideal for someone who blends strategic thinking with an intuitive grasp of trends, content, and performance across major platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the strategic lead for social-first campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and emerging platforms.
- Drive campaign ideation, content planning, influencer partnerships, and paid media strategy.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients on social-related initiatives, ensuring clarity, alignment, and trust.
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, performance, and community teams to deliver cohesive, insight-driven campaigns.
- Translate brand goals into measurable KPIs and oversee performance reporting and optimization.
- Guide junior account team members and provide mentorship in social best practices.
- Keep clients ahead of the curve by proactively recommending platform updates, tools, or trends.
- Manage budgets, scopes, timelines, and overall campaign health.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a digital, social, or integrated agency (with at least 2 years leading social accounts at a senior level).
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms, content formats, and audience behavior.
- Experience briefing and reviewing social-first creative work (static, video, stories, reels, etc.).
- Proven success in managing high-volume content calendars and paid media campaigns.
- Strong presentation, client communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing influencer campaigns or social activations.
- Familiarity with social listening, scheduling, and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch).
- Exposure to crisis management or real-time content response.
