Get to Know the Role
As a Packaging Development Staff, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing packaging solutions that meet product requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging functionality, efficiency, and innovation, while supporting continuous improvement in packaging performance and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop packaging designs, standards, and specifications tailored to product requirements
- Conduct research on packaging materials
- Conduct lab-scale packaging tests and trials to ensure quality and performance
- Conducting scale-up and validation of filling and packing processes for new products (NPL) and existing products
- Coordinating with internal teams (R&D, Production, QA/QC, Marketing) and packaging vendors
- Ensuring packaging meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Implementing packaging improvements and innovations, preparing development documentation
Qualification:
- Have a minimum of an associate's (Diploma 3) or bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a Packaging Development Staff (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply)
- Understanding of packaging materials (plastic, glass, paper, etc.) and their characteristics
- Understanding of quality standards and packaging regulations (preferably in the FMCG/cosmetics/food & beverage industries)
- Familiar with operating filling and packaging machines
- Ability to communicate effectively and work across teams
- Proficient in computer operations (Microsoft Office), operating measuring instruments, and using Adobe software (a plus)
- Possesses analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and is detail-oriented
- Willing to work in Tangerang, Banten
