Purpose Of The Role
The Billing field staff is responsible to the Billing Supervisor for the timely collection of the receivables in assigned accounts. He/she ensures that the trade receivables in assigned accounts are reconciled with the customers and payments are collected to ensure continuous serviceability of the customers. He/she coordinates with the Sales Representatives to understand the nature of any deductions made by customers and ensure that these deductions are legitimate so that no balances are left hanging and outstanding
What You'll Do
- Remit collections on time and within agreed company policies and procedures
- Prompt reconciliation of assigned accounts to achieve acceptable quality of receivables and Days Outstanding
- Achieve collection targets
- Conduct regular AR reviews with appropriate parties (Sales Reps, Principals, Customers, Credit Management) regarding account status and resolve problems encountered related to AR clean-up in assigned accounts
- Explain credit terms and credit policies to assigned customers and report any deviation to Billing Supervisor for proper hangdling
- Others as assigned by direct superior
What Will Make You Successful
As a billing field staff member is determined by a combination of high technical collect all AR and strong communication skills to resolve all collection in field
Must-Have
- Bachelor Degree (S1), in management business or related field
- Preferably with a minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical collection experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
