The Social Media will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing a comprehensive social media strategy across all relevant platforms to significantly boost brand presence, foster community engagement, and drive business objectives within the dynamic cryptocurrency and FinTech space. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of digital asset culture, platform best practices, and a proven ability to translate market insights into engaging social campaigns that resonate with the crypto community. The person will be instrumental in positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities | Social Media Strategy | - Develop and execute a high-level, data-driven social media strategy aligned with overall business and marketing goals to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads. - Oversee all social media channels (e.g., Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit) ensuring brand consistency, compelling storytelling, and adherence to platform-specific best practices. - Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, especially within the Web3 and cryptocurrency ecosystem.
| Content & Community Management | - Plan, curate, and schedule daily content (text, image, video) that is relevant, engaging, and timely for the target crypto audience. - Lead community engagement efforts, monitoring conversations, responding to comments and inquiries promptly, and fostering a positive, interactive community. - Identify and engage with key influencers, crypto personalities, and community leaders to expand reach and collaboration opportunities. - Coordinate with the Content and Design teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand visual and written assets.
| Social Advertising & Campaigns | - Strategize, manage, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to drive specific marketing KPIs (e.g., user acquisition, event registration, product launches). - Develop A/B testing frameworks for ad creatives, audience targeting, and campaign structures to maximize ROI.
| Analytics & Reporting | - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and regularly track, analyze, and report on performance across all platforms using analytics tools. - Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data to continuously optimize content, timing, and strategy. - Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify white space opportunities within the crypto social landscape.
| Compliance & Risk Management | - Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all social media communication adheres to regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, particularly important in the FinTech/Crypto sector. - Develop protocols for crisis communication and manage reputational risk on social platforms.
| Cross-functional Collaboration | - Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Support, and PR teams to ensure integrated campaigns and consistent messaging across all external communications. - Provide social media support for product launches, events, and company announcements.
Requirement Area Details
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing social media strategy and execution for a high-growth brand.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling social media channels, significantly increasing engagement and followers.
- Mandatory prior experience within the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or FinTech industry is required, with deep familiarity with crypto culture, terminology, and community platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram).
Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency with major social media platforms (Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Instagram, etc.) and associated management/scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with paid social advertising campaign setup and optimization.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media data, draw strategic conclusions, and make data-backed decisions.
- Proven ability to define and measure KPIs that align social media efforts with business outcomes.
Communication
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with a native understanding of the distinct tone and voice required for different crypto communities.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills for community engagement and cross-functional teamwork.
