Manage and monitor total project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets and cost plans.
Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of tenders and support the preparation of service agreements.
Establish and maintain project cost control systems in accordance with agreed methodologies and reporting structures.
Provide cost planning and cost control advisory support across projects, including variation analysis, milestone progress monitoring, and customer billing processes.
Review cost commitments and expenditures across all cost elements to ensure accuracy and consistency in cost control and reporting systems.
Prepare regular cost reports and proactively advise management and clients on potential cost overruns, highlighting risks and recommending corrective actions.
Coordinate with the finance team on monthly valuations of work completed and services rendered for invoice preparation, verification, and financial reporting purposes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with proven involvement in CSA and MEP works for Data Center projects.
Solid understanding of quantity surveying and cost management practices across all project phases, including planning, tendering, construction, and project close-out.
Strong capability in quantity take-off, Bills of Items, and Bills of Quantities for Civil, Structure, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works.
Good knowledge of contracting procedures and standard forms of construction contracts.
Up-to-date understanding of market unit rates and cost benchmarking.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a consultancy team environment.
Detail-oriented, professional, and responsible in handling confidential and commercial information.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is an advantage.
