About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and stability of our Direct Platform & Apps the core customer-facing booking and property management experiences. Youll work closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to test web and mobile platforms used across Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end manual testing efforts for Direct Platform & Apps across mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms.
- Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on product requirements and user flows.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA.
- Collaborate with developers to triage bugs, verify fixes, and ensure releases are of high quality.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and daily standups to align with development timelines.
- Perform regression, integration, exploratory, and UI/UX testing across multiple browsers and devices.
- Validate API responses and backend data to ensure functional consistency.
- Help improve QA documentation and best practices.
- Act as a bridge between product, tech, and customer support teams, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of production issues.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in manual QA with web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience testing customer-facing apps (preferably in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce).
- Familiarity with mobile app testing (iOS/Android) and tools like BrowserStack or physical devices.
- Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports and test cases.
- Good grasp of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Ability to use SQL for validating backend data.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) or online booking platforms.
- Prior experience working in cross-functional remote teams.
