- Overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial and taxation regulations.
- Preparing and analysing financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Managing budgeting and forecasting activities in alignment with company objectives.
- Ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial closures.
- Collaborating with internal departments to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of routine tax filings, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and statutory deadlines.
- Maintain well-organised accounting and tax records to support internal controls, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Monitoring cash flow and maintaining optimal financial health for the organisation.
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members within the department.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Big 4 or global environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax principles.
- Experience supporting tax compliance processes, including tax calculations, filings, and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to work collaboratively across teams.
